Recently, Philippine AZKALS defeated Tajikistan Football Team in their game at Nepal for AFC Challenge Cup with the score 2-1 in favor of Philippine Azkals.
After defeating the Tajikistan Team, Philippine AZKALS team entered a spot for AFC Challenge Cup semi-finals!
The first goal from Tajikistan was controversial before the halftime but despite of it, Philippine Azkals were able to bounce back the score and resulted to victorious game.
The first goal from Philippine Azkals early on the second half by Phil Younghusband while the second goal was scored by Angel Guirado at the 80th minute of the game.
On this victorious game of Philippine Azkal, the team advanced to the semi-finals round. This coming March 16, 2012 will meet the Group B top team Turkmenistan.
